Having started his own online leather business with his brother whilst studying for his degree at University, Alexander quickly realised the power of digital marketing. Following a series of mentorships, Alexander developed pioneering techniques to generate sales online. This led to him founding one of the first 4G hosting companies in the world. With a team of just three he grew this business to in excess of 8,000 clients across 34 countries in less than six months. This subsequently resulted in the sale of the company to an Israeli-based technology firm. Starting with the same original team, Alexander founded a digital marketing and software development company, to help other businesses scale their operations. He enjoys helping companies grow from the early stages to an international level, as well as helping to streamline existing business processes through automation.

An interview with Alexander

Alexander, tell us a little bit about you and your work. What services do you offer?

I am Chief Executive of Frontpage Digital - a digital marketing company and software company. Our services are designed to handle your company’s entire online presence, so you can focus on running your business. Our core services include Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click Management, B2B Lead Generation, Full Stack Website Development and Automation Consultancy.  

How is your business unique?

If you take a look at our website, you will see that we do things a little differently from most other agencies. We see ourselves more as a ‘tech’ company than a marketing agency. Our business is driven by three key principles:

  • Transparency - all our packages, deliverables and prices are transparent and clearly listed on our website.

  • Data - any decision we make is driven by data and scientific analysis. We make no assumptions on guesswork.

  • Technology - we use and develop our own technology and scripts to improve the results of our clients. Where possible, we help our clients implement automation to maximise productivity.  

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy working with ambitious entrepreneurs and turning an idea into a scalable business. 

You started your business aged 19. Do you recommend entrepreneurship as a route for young people?

 If you have a great idea, you are determined to succeed and you are not afraid of hard work, then I would thoroughly recommend starting your own business as a young entrepreneur. Most of the skills you learn running your own business cannot be taught, so the best thing you can do is get out there and do it! It is an increasingly popular career path as you can choose your own working hours and sculpt exactly how you want your business to evolve. This degree of ownership over your work is an attractive prospect for many young people.

What do you think the global economy will look like in 10 years time?

A strong online presence is without a doubt, the future for almost any business. Those that can leverage as much automation as possible will succeed and those that are slow off the starting line may find it difficult to compete. 

What do you do when you are not working?

I enjoy all things outdoors, from scuba diving to tennis. I also particularly enjoy travelling and still have lots of places on my list to visit.

What is next for you?

I want to continue to grow my team of Account Executives, Content Marketers, PPC Analysts and Developers. As the team grows, we hope to continue to offer more services, such as Artificial Intelligence Implementation.
